I've finished two books so far - Dear John and The Last Song, both by Nicholas Sparks. I'm in the middle of The Blind Side by Michael Lewis.
I thought Dear John sucked. I love Nicholas Sparks, but he really dropped the ball with this one. Hated the ending. Terrible. The Last Song, on the other hand, was great. I cried through the last few chapters - not just tears, but full on sobbing.
I have two other books waiting in the wings for as soon as I finish The Blind Side.
Oh... and... soon we'll be crossing a BIG one off the list. We're set to close on our first home by the end of the month!
And we can cross off the fact that I have not had any Starbucks in not one, but TWO+ months. Thanks to the diet plan that I'm on, there's no caffeine. Yes, I'm still alive. This also means that I haven't had any sweets in over two months. Cross that one off too!
